Your question intrigued me, and in looking at the passage I noticed that,
although the repetition is not quite so striking, the same occurs in the two
subsequent verses:

HDISTA OUN MALLON
KAUCHSOMAI EN TAIS ASQENEIAIS MOU,
INA EPISKHNWSHi EP EME hH DUNAMIS TOU CRISTOU.
DIO EUDOKW EN ASQENEIAIS.....

Here the centre of attention is the power of Christ! I am not sure that these
'structural' analyses demonstrate anything other than the importance of
repetition in rhetoric.
