Why am I yacking about this book? Well last summer we had on this list a
prolonged discussion about language models. Since that time I have been
waiting to find a published work where an alternative language model is
presented in a sufficiently lucid manner to be useful for NT Greek students
and scholars. Silva's book goes a long way toward filling this need. What
Silva is presenting here is not just a few exegetical observations about
Galatians but a different way (model) of going about the business of analyzing
the GNT. I find this kind of exciting.

Those of you who subscribe to the journals are probably wondering "what is the big deal". Not all of us read the journals, and we only see what gets bound into books and widely distributed. My appologies to those for whom all of this is "old news".
