NT Greek Text

I would recommend "Learn to read the Greek New Testament" by B. Ward
Powers, published in Australia by Anzea, by Eerdmans in the U.S. and
by Paternoster in the UK. It is based on linguistic techniques used
in teaching dead languages and concentrating on reading the literature.
There are no made up examples, no English to Greek translation, the
vocabulary is taught (in part) by relating it to English etymology,
and half the book is devoted to grammatical appendices.

Yes, the author is a relative. Yes, the book is hard to find at the
moment (out of print), but a new edition is on its way.
