Nichael,

The standard lexicon is that by Bauer, Arndt, Gingrich and Danker,
_A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early 
Christian Literature_ (abbreviated as BAG).  There is also an 
abbridged version by Arndt, Gingrich and Danker, but for serious work 
the full version is needed.

There is no comparison between BAG and TDNT as they do very different
things--and you will not find the vast majority of words in TDNT, 
while BAG is a lexicon of every word in the GNT.
