If he is so apologetic, why did he re-post the offending email with his
apology!? (Am I missing something here or is this is doubley insulting as it
seems to be against Maurice Robinson.)

Alan,
I talked with Jim Brooks about Maurice. He did his work under Jim at
Southwestern. Jim does not claim much credit for what he has done. He
characterized him as strongly dogmatic and very adept at finding whatever
evidence he needs to support his claims. He was not very flattering
concerning him.
