argument by the beard

not much sense in rehearsing quaint illustrations of elements of logic.

all sorts of catchy illustrations can be found for almost any fallacy, if one
consults the pet approaches of logic teachers in their various tomes.

for the aka fallacy of continued questioning or 'slippery slope' baptism would
work just as well as a beard. imagine every possible amount of wetness between
one ear jutting above the watery grave all the way to one drop on occiput.
