John Russell asked about Greek equivalents for our 'happy'.

Notoriously, the Good News Bible translated MAKARIOS with 'Happy' in
the Beatitudes (Matt. 5.3-10) and ended up with some real
absurdities like 'Happy are those who mourn'!
