Rom. 8:13, EI GAR KATA SARKA ZHTE, MELLETE APOQNHiSKEIN; EI DE PNEUMATI
TAS PRAXEIS TOU SWMATOS QANATOUTE ZHSESQE

QANATOUTE is here in the present active indicative. The way I understand
it is that it says we need to constantly put to death the deeds of the
flesh. I've always understood the present tense to mean a continuous
action. Should it be seen in this same way here?
