I assume that most of you now know that Gregory Beale has written a new
Commentary on the Apocalypse in the NIGTC series from Eerdmans. There are many
books written on the Apocalypse but it isn't very often that a technical
commentary is written on this book. I have already submitted a purchase
request with my local library for this volume.

Based on the page count (1408) listed in the Eisenbrauns catalog, I am going
to nominate this work for the *John Owen Award. The last work I nominated for
this award was Darrell L. Bock's two volume work on Luke.

*Some of you may remember John Owen's commentary on Hebrews.
