You thought that was going to be an easy one, huh? Ordinarily "quid" is
the neuter singular interrogative pronoun, while "quod" is the neuter
singular relative pronoun (each, under the right circumstances, can be
translated as "what"); however "quod" may function as an interrogative
ADJECTIVE when used with a neuter singular noun: QUOD TELUM IECISTI? =
"Which projectile did you throw?"
