The LXX usage of hAPTW reflects the Semitic root _NG(_ which means to touch,
reach, strike, stricken, harm, bother. It usually reflects something bad being
achieved by the 'touching'. This would fit remarkably well if Jesus was making a
lighthearted, sarcastic comment to Mary who was 'bothering' him.

Good point! For this would reflect the Semitic _DBQ_ which means to cling to,
embrace, hold onto. The fact that _NG(_ is the word that is reflected by the
Greek hAPTW lends credence to the humourous interpretation.
