Yes, Carl, that's right. But other languages might have words to
describe each of these metaphors, just like Greek did. I'll never know
about Ibanag unless I investigate, and I'll never investigate if I don't
understand the minor points of difference.

Thanks to all of you who responded. Mary, I especially thank you for
calling to my remembrance that concepts that are active in one language
might be handled as passive in another.
