(as clearly as the Johannine formulations ever indicate anything) that
"the hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified" refers precisely
to the upcoming crucifixion and death of Jesus. Therefore the text in
question, DIA TOUTO HLQON EIS THN WRAN TAUTHN must surely mean "That
(i.e. in order to be glorified in death) is why I came to this hour."
