Cool!

I have always done it since Dr Warren pointed it out in the Anbasis
some 30 years ago, and I was really quite surprised to find it so
missing on b-greek. The first time I offered it as evidence, early in
my postings [and I don't remember in evidence for what!], it was
scoffed at, with a mildly sneerinG overtone, as I recall! [ :-0 ]

Up till that time, I had just taken it for granted and had a kind of
intuitive feel for it and for the process in translation of working
outward from centers, which is perhaps how it mentally works in
ongoing composition and conversation. The speaker knows the movement
that will have effect, [hinge], and knows how it starts out, and where
it ends up and how, and the structure just flows together as [s]he
speaks or composes, following a logic 'going in' that is mirrored
'coming out'. Once you get the hang of it, I believe that it makes
remembering a lot easier, and I believe that with practice it becomes
second-nature and automatic.

And I could be full of bad beans!! :-) [But so far I don't think
so...]
