Actually, of course, since YHWH in the Hebrew was regularly converted into
ADONAY when the Hebrew text was read aloud, ADONAY was converted into its
Greek equivalent, KURIOS. This holds true generally throughout the LXX,
that KURIOS in the Greek represents the Hebrew tetragram YHWH.
As this thread continues, will list-members please remember to focus on the
lexical item under discussion, the Greek verb PROSKUNEW and the Biblical
Greek texts in which that verb is found.
