re: whether edwken ainon is idiomatic greek?

xairete filoi,

does anyone have TLG (or something else) for checking possible
pre-christian examples of
--dounai ainon-- in the sense "to give praise"?
the phrase occurs in luke 18.43 edwken ainon 'gave praise' and feels
'semitic' to me.
[in fact, it is easily reproducible in high hebrew, low hebrew and
aramaic.]
i wonder if there is a precise, pre-christian attestation of it in greek?
(i am aware of 2 clement 1.5, 9.10, but both of those are rather
post-christian. the phrase is not in the LXX.)
