One might translate OU MH APOLWNTAI as: "they won't never perish!" <g>
The active of AP-OLLUMI means "destroy, ruin, lose," the middle means:
"perish, be destroyed, be lost." Also note that the active has the 1st
aorist form: APWLESA, but the middle has the 2nd aorst form: APWLOMHN. Thus
the subjunctive middle 2nd aorst stem is: APOL-
