Re: "Why study Greek?"

Well, a fellow student and I at Dallas Seminary years ago (1971)
made a covenant between us to be diligent in the study of the
Greek for the rest of our lives. This came about after hearing
horror stories at DTS about seminary students going through
4 years of Dallas training in the languages, graduating, then
never using the Greek or Hebrew again.

Sadly, the other guy has since reneged. I have not.

That is one reason for me to study Greek, though not the
most important to be sure.
