The above paragraph ought to be understood as a theological opinion of the
sender; whether or not list-members accept or agree with it is their own
business and not really a proper subject for discussion in this forum. I
think there's a lot of room for agreement or disagreement with the
proposition(s) that Greek is a "superior" language and/or that English is
an "inferior" language, whether because it is living and changing or for
any other reason(s). I think it can (and should) be argued that we have
lots of problems dealing with Biblical Greek precisely because it too was a
language in flux at the time of the composition of the Greek NT.
At any rate, PLEASE, if list-members want to talk about the supposed
superiority or inferiority of Greek or English to each other, let's keep
the focus on that question rather than on the language of "the true word of
God."
