<x-charset iso-8859-1>With apologies in advance for the Beta Code.

Using the TLG D Disk, there seems to be only one certain pre NT usage of
ARSENOKOITHS. And that's Oracula Sibyllina`
Oracula 2.73 yeu/dorkon stuge/ei qeo/j, o(/tti ken a)/n tij

For ARRENOKOITHS there seem to be only these two intsnaces:

Perhaps a search of the papyri and epigraphical (not to mention the
forthcoming TLG E) disk would yield further results. But this seems to
indicate that the terms are NOT Pauline neologisms.

Hope this helps.

Yours,

Jeffrey
