Dear Steve,
This is the first post that I have read on this subject. You probably
are already aware of 1 Sam 21:6, where the natural translation of the
Hebrew K:L"Y ("vessels" or "equipment") would be SKEUOI. The Septuagint at
this spot is confused (although it uses this Greek word). The soldiers kept
their "things" holy, says David, after speaking about women having been
kept from the soldiers.

                                        Sincerely,
                                        Harold Holmyard
