Dear David,
In the UBS Concise Dictionary of the NT GOMORRA is listed with a
genitive, singular ending -AS in the feminine, but a genitive, plural
ending -WN in the neuter. The dictionary simply lists SODOMA as having a
genitive, plural ending -WN in the neuter. BAG treats SODOMA and GOMORRAH
as the UBS dictionary. My thought has been that there must be no
attestation for SODOMA in the singular with a case ending, as there is for
GOMORRA in 2 Pet 2:6. So no genitive, singular ending may appear for SODOMA
due to uncertainty as to whether it should be first declension feminine or
third declension neuter. Jude 7 uses the nominative and so does not reveal
the gender of the noun.

                                Yours,
                                Harold Holmyard
