It certainly can. I have a macro that I wrote for Mac Microsoft Word
98 VB (Should work on windows and mac word 97 and on). Just convert
your word list into a table, then duplicate the column with the
words, and select all in one of the columns, then run the macro, then
sort based on that column, and delete the column if you wish.

The macro simply deletes all punctuation marks, then changes w to z,
c to w, etc. so that it'll sort in the right order. I used the
LaserGreek keymap, the one that Accordance optionally copies to. But
it could done with any keymap.

You can record the macro easily in Word, but if you would like the
text of my macro, email me and I'll email it to you offlist, unless a
higher up would prefer I post it on the list.
