I do not see another NT text with a similar meaning except 2 Thess 2:6-7,
and even there the idea is restraint rather than suppression. But there is
clearly self-deception in Rom 21-22; so suppress seems a viable translation
possibility when BAGD shows that this is a sense of the word KATECW. If
they suppress truth, it is in them somewhere.
