related to the gospels. As I look at Black's Linguistics for Students of
NT Greek, it seems that the majority of work in this area has been done on the
various NT epistles. Other than Olssons's Structure and Meaning in the
Fourth Gospel there doesn't seem to be a whole lot related to the other
gospels.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>My ultimate hope is to be able to use some discourse analysis
techniques as a means for analyzing the amhn, legw humin (soi)
sayings--essentially asserting that they have been used by the evangelists for a
particular purpose within the overall structure of each of the
gospels.</FONT></DIV>
