Dear Steve,

Your suggestion of the sense "faithfulness" for PISTIN in Phil 1:5 is
interesting. I do not find this set of words a normal Hebrew chiasm, which
is A B B A, or something like that. Here you have A A1 B1 B, according to
the chiastic theory. I guess I would need to read more about it, but a
simple "love and faithfulness" interpretation would be a nice solution. It
is a NT sense for PISTIN in Rom 3:3.
