Marilyn:
About copyright approval for original text quotations. There are
several "original" Greek/Hebrew texts published by as many authors; Nestle
Aland being one. As such, if you cite a number of verses from one
"copyrighted" issue, be that a Greek text or translation, you should
contact the author to discuss his requirements. Usually, the thousand
quotation standard applies; but one must state the source, with the
necessary usage/permission verbage applied to his book, or in your case,
media cover.
Best of luck: hope this helps.
