The greek letters refer to the Septuagint text of Exodus 3,14: God says "ego
eimi ho on" ["I am the living one"]; the greek letters after "ego eimi" are
omicron--omega--nu.

Subject: [b-greek] Omicron Omega Nu?

I had no idea how to answer this inquiry:

>The Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Clearwater, Florida, contains a
panel
>in one of its stained glass windows that contains a triangle within which
are
>the three Greek letters Omicron Omega Nu. We cannot determine the
symbolism
>for the three letters, although there are several explanations for the
>triangle. Any help would be appreciated. With thanks, J. Stevenson

Any ideas?

Jonathan
