From what I've been able to glean, Jim Morrsion's father was a Church of
Christ minister. The inscription is his belated tribute to Morrison's love
of all things Greek and a comment on his lifestyle. "According to his own
spirit". Depending on how you interpret KATA and DAIMONA other translation
become possible such as:
