No; this is an idiomatic usage. Here's what L&N say:
67.59 DI' hHMERWN: (an idiom, literally 'through days') a point of time
subsequent to another point of time after an interval of a few days - 'a
few days later.' EISELQWN PALIN EIS KAFARNAOUM DI' hHMERWN 'a few days
later he came back to Capernaum' Mk 2:1.
