Well, you're right, Alex, to the extent that it is quite often accompanied
by an EIS or ES + acc. adverbial expression, but not quite always; it's
really an interesting verb (perhaps I'm a bit peculiar in finding verbs
"really interesting"--but I do); here's LSJ on it:
