1985 seems a bit early for the latest, although the 9th edition itself is
the latest; but the most-recently printed also has a very valuable
supplement by Glare and was issued in 1996; it's described as follows at
the web site of the Bibliotheca Classica Selecta at the U. of Louvain in
Belgium:

        <http://bcs.fltr.ucl.ac.be/DicLanAGr.html#LSJ>

Ce sigle désigne: Liddell H.G., Scott R., A Greek-English Lexicon, 9e éd.
revue par Jones H.S. [e.a], 1940, 2111 p., qu'on consultera aujourd'hui

I gave mine of the version that you were given when I got the above 1996
edition, and the one I gave it to was happy to get it also. Yes, I think
you're lucky enough: the 1996 version will currently cost you $145.00 at
