<br><tt>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jesus and the Spiral of Violence (1992),
Sociology and the</tt>
<br><tt>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jesus Movement (1989), Archeology, History,

<br><tt>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Galilee (1996), and many other works,</tt>
<p><tt>has agreed to conduct a two week online Seminar with Corpus Paulinum</tt>
<br><tt>members and other interested parties on the ideas and arguments
set out</tt>
<br><tt>in chapters 5-9 of Richard A. Horsley and Neil Asher Silberman,
The</tt>
<br><tt>Message and the Kingdom. (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 2002) and
the</tt>
<br><tt>Introduction and the introductory essays to each of the four chapters
in</tt>
<br><tt>Paul and Empire.</tt>
<p><tt>The Seminar, to be carried out under the auspices of Corpus Paulinum
and</tt>
<br><tt>its managers,&nbsp; will begin on Monday, April 22nd, and will
run until</tt>
<br><tt>Friday, May 3rd, 2002.</tt>
<p><tt>So as to be managed effectively, the Seminar will be conducted on
a</tt>
<br><tt>subscription only basis (for instructions on subscribing, see below),</tt>
<br><tt>and all posts submitted by Seminar members will be and&nbsp; be
subject to</tt>
<br><tt>selection by the seminar's moderators.&nbsp; Posts selected as
best suited to</tt>
<br><tt>further the discussion will be answered by Professor Horsley on
a daily</tt>
<br><tt>basis.</tt>
<p><tt>The messages from Seminar List members and the replies of Professor</tt>
<br><tt>Horsley will be posted regularly to the Seminar’s Home page</tt>
