also should have noted from attic gre. onward 3 pl. mid-pass. pf. never had
anything but a periphrastic, so, where those forms are concerned, arg. > nil.
like to see what ancc. verss. do where alternatives are available. really doubt
any diff. at all between eram amans and amabam, &c.
