What exactly is happening here syntactically? The textual variant here seems to
suggest some scribal difficulty with the construction. In a cursory search,
the only construction I've found which has at least formal similarity is in Rev
14:10.
I seem to remember that there's something in BDF and Moulton on this but I
don't have them here at home.
Hope this one gets through. I've posted a couple of messages recently that
haven't reached the digests.
