In the matter of things to read regarding EUQUS in Mark, one needs to
consult not only D. Daube's _The Sudden in Scripture_, as Mark Goodacre
suggested, but also the comments by R.A. Guelich on Mk 1:10 in G's
commentary on Mark, and a seemingly little known but important article
by P. Ellingworth entilted "How Soon is 'Immediately' in Mark?', which
apperaed in vol. 29 (1978) of _The Bible Translator_ on pp. 414-419.
Also, the huge bibliographical study on Mark put out by Frans Neirynck
in 1991? should be consulted.
