(1) SUGCWRHSON my ignorance, but what is "the SUNEKDHMOS"?

(2) I would have thought from the context that SUGCWRHSON in this context
has to be equivalent to AFES from AFIHMI/AFIW, "forgive." The LSJ entry for
SUGCWREW at Perseus is glossed with the Latin 'concedo' which does bear
that sense:

e. To assent to, grant, pardon, allow, etc.: "quos (judices) alienis
peccatis concessuros putes, quo facilius ipsis peccare liceat", Cic. Verr.
2.3.96.§ 223: poėtae non ignoscit, nobis concedit, id. de Or. 3, 51, 198:
"dicto concedi", id. Rosc. Am. 1.3: "cui (vitio) si concedere nolis", Hor.
S. 1, 4, 140; cf. id. ib. 1, 3, 85.-Hence (cf. cedo, II. A. 3. fin.

and if one looks closely in LSJ under SUGCWREW, there's a sense attested
under II 5 "forgive a debt" with a reference to DL 1.45--I'm assuming that
Diogenes Laertius.
