Jack,

The article here does belong with FRONEIN. BDF section 399 suggests that it
functions anaphorically i.e. "that which you have previously done" and
compares the use of the article in 2.6 where TO seems to refer back to the
HOS EN MORPHE THEOU. In 4.10 the referent is implicit rather than stated
directly in the text, but it probably refers to the financial support that
the Philippians have offered to Paul.
