In a message dated 97-02-04 16:08:15 EST, you write:

the
Greek New Testament on computer, but can't really afford to buy any
programs.(UBS) >>

There is a Greek drill program that is based on LEXICAL AIDS FOR STUDENTS=
OF
NEW TESTAMENT GREEK by Bruce Metzger. I downloaded it from the files on =
AOL.
It is a nice program, containing all of the vocabulary of the Greek New
Testament, however it does not have accents. What follows are the writers=
own
comments.

"QuickMem Greek 1.0

QuickMem is provided freely for=20
those who wish to accelerate their=20
study of New Testament Greek. =20
The frequency lists and word=20
definitions are from Bruce M.=20
Metzger=92s Lexical Aids for=20
Students of New Testament=20
Greek (used with permission). I=20
highly recommend you use this=20
book in conjunction with=20
QuickMem. It contains much=20
more than what I have included=20
here (including such things as=20
accents, mnemonic aids,=20
declensions, preposition charts,=20
etc.) Dr. Metzger=92s book also=20
contains a second part (not=20
included in QuickMem) listing=20
New Testament words according=20
to their root. It may be obtained=20
by writing to:

Theological Book Agency
Princeton Theological Seminary
P.O. Box 821
Princeton, NJ 08542

Please do not modify QuickMem=20
in any way or use parts of it within=20
your own programs. It is=20
copyrighted even though you are=20
not required to pay for it.

I only wish I had a program such=20
as this when I was in college=20
studying Greek. It would have=20
saved me time and humiliation. =20
Therefore, I want to make this=20
program available to everyone=20
without charge (Matthew 6:20). =20
However, if you would like to=20
send a gift (or even a letter) of=20
appreciation (like a new C++=20
compiler, computer hardware,=20
cash, etc.) I would not turn it=20
away (and it probably would help=20
me convince my wife that I need=20
to spend more time learning to=20
program).

Please, if you do find any bugs or=20
typographical errors please let me=20
know so that they can be=20
corrected.

I have found it very helpful, and will be glad to forward a copy if desir=
ed.
